Who you’re dealing with

Secret Rides is run by Green-Data Ltd. Questions: privacy@secretrides.app.

Who can use it

• During the beta, Doug picks testers from the sign-up list.
• You need to be 16 or over. You confirm it with a tick when you sign up; we don’t check ID. An account found to belong to someone under 16 is closed.
• It isn’t offered in the EU or the UK for now. If you live there, please contact us at privacy@secretrides.app.

Your account

• One account per rider. Keep your password to yourself.
• You’re responsible for what’s done with your account.

Riding is your call

Secret Rides plans routes, shows weather, wind and places to sleep, and helps others follow you. It can be wrong or out of date. The road, the trail, the weather and whether to ride are always yours to judge. Live tracking, SOS and Pack Mode depend on your phone, its battery and signal or Bluetooth, so they can’t be guaranteed.

What you put in

• Your rides, spots, photos and notes stay yours. You let us keep them and show them as the app describes, to you and to the people you choose.
• Only put in what you have the right to share. Don’t post other people’s private details.
• Riders’ spots should be real places a loaded bike can reach. Mark private land only with permission.

Fair play

Don’t harass other riders, don’t try to get into accounts or parts of the app that aren’t yours, and don’t use Secret Rides to break the law. For a serious breach, or an account that belongs to someone under 16, Secret Rides can:

• Suspend the account: you can’t sign in or send feedback until it’s lifted. Nothing is deleted.
• Close the account: it’s deleted, as with Delete my account. Done within 30 days, gone from backups 14 days after.

Leaving

You can delete your account any time, in Profile › Your data. Download your data first if you want a copy. What happens to your data is in the Privacy policy.

When these change

If we change these Terms, we’ll tell you in the app before it happens, and update the date at the top.
